Palindromes are a sequence of letters and words that can be read the same way both forwards and backwards. The examples that can be admired in the »Giardino« were affixed like street signs to the external wall of »Restaurant Spoerri« in Düsseldorf at the end of the 1960s and reference Daniel Spoerri’s career as a chef and restaurant owner. André Thomkins created them for his friend. AmongThomkins’ most famous palindromes are: »Oh cet echo!« and »Dogma I am God«.
