As a location for his fallen aeroplane, the artist wanted a spot at which three paths cross. He sees in this a feminine principle, the arrow-shaped, falling plane symbolises a masculine, aggressive moment. On the inside, in addition to a number of marble hands that seem to search for each other, di Cocco also integrated a small model of the »Catalina« (an aeroplane that became famous in the Second World War), which functions as the »innocent soul« of the fallen machine.
