Bernard Pras likes to be termed a »modern Arcimboldo«. His relief-like installations made from all sorts of different materials and objects form portraits or images taken from art history. A pictorial illusion emerges, which, however, immediately dissolves into banal, familiar elements upon closer inspection. This new sculpture in the »Giardino« includes shoe trees, plates, metal panels, spades, arranged on the loading platform of a Piaggio »Ape«.
