Now he lives near the Monte Amiata at the Monte Labbro and as an artist he preferably works with locally found stones. Furthermore he is enthusiastically interested in the morphology of language. Sometimes this also has an influence on his artistic work.

The Three Thrones
2000/2001
natural stone slab, copper, bronze, iron
The three thrones stand above the labyrinth on a quadratic surface that covers a water cistern. Thus life-giving water is located under the throne, while above it life-giving sun shines and warms. The unification of sun and earth is thematised in the labyrinthine wall path. Zoltan Kruse wanted to extend the cosmic coupling of Father Sun and Mother Earth with the result of this union, the child, and so created three thrones. The seats are stone panels taken from an old stable floor. For the frames the artist used copper, bronze and iron.
