We are excited to announce the next upcoming event at Il Giardino:

Concentrating on artist interventions in heritage preservation we would like to invite you to have a closer look at the early development of the Giardino.

Beginning the Program at 8pm at the Biglietteria of the Giardino we will have a joined Prosecco at the Unicorns for a short introduction of the Giardino and its history, to get to know each other and enjoy the view during sunset.

Followed by an outside film screening of »Il Giardino di Daniel Spoerri« (by Magdalena Kauz, Switzerland, June 1999) showing early images of the garden and Daniel during the installation. Please feel free to bring picnic utensils, we encourage you to bring food, drinks and your children along. We will stay for a possible Q&A after the film and encourage a joined conversation around topics such as preservation, local communities and outside enablers, peripheral life as attraction for artist and the importance of location for artistic production, the interaction of sculpture with it’s surrounding nature etc.
The event will be held in German and English.

Advance booking highly recommended due to limited availability. Tickets are 16 euro for visitors, 10 euro reduced price for inhabitants of Seggiano and Castel del Piano, Children are free of charge.
