bronze, travertine
Like Othello and Desdemona (39), the Seer is also the collaboration of a couple. Esther Seidel created the man with closed eyes, who, standing behind the tree trunks and branches, yet appears to avoid the gaze into the distance. However, he is barefoot and thus considerably closer to nature than his coat would suggest. The protective space, a niche made from travertine panels, was erected by Patrick Steiner.
