Images rise up from the subconscious and are captured in drawings. There is a fine line between darkness and light, between day and night. A pale track in a wall of iron, through which light penetrates. The line is fine, but at the same time it is strong and precise, targeted, like a kiss.

The art of Ugo Dossi focuses on the creativity of the subconscious, on sensuality and on the extrasensory. It plays with archetypal and collective images, with automatic drawing, subliminal projections, with paranormal phenomena. His installations have been shown at Documenta (Documenta 6 and Documenta 8), at the Biennale in Venice, Paris and Buenos Aires, as well as in numerous solo exhibitions in international museums.
