Following an idea of Daniel Spoerri’s, a comprehensive view, comprised of 55 single photographs taken by Vera Metz, of the hotel room No. 13 in which D.S. lived from 1959 – 64 at the Hotel Carcassonne, Rue Mouffetard in Paris. Spoerri later mounted blue espandrilles on the photo. In 1962 the work was exhibited at the Salon Contemporain in Paris. |
