On the occasion of an exhibition of 723 kitchen utensils mounted on a board at the Galerie J, in Paris, Daniel Spoerri cooked meals on several evenings, while art critics, according to their role of giving the consumer an understanding of the works of artists, took over the role of the waiters.
10 dining tables were mounted.
Spoerri: “I wanted to shake off the snare-picture and still stick to the theme.”
