A “Musée Sentimental” was first realized in 1977 in Paris. Small nondescript objects document (art) historical events.
Later Daniel Spoerri expanded this basic idea in cooperation with students, for example as “Musée Sentimental de Cologne” (1978, Cologne), “M.S. de Prusse” (1981, Berlin) or the “M.S. de Bâle” (1989, Basel).
