In the series «Carnaval des Animaux» the drawings of Charles Le Brun from the 17th century were used as the bottom layer. They deal with the similarities between humans and animals («Figure humaine comparée avec celle de …»). The depictions were enlarged and transferred to canvas through the Scanachrome technique, and then interpreted with objects.
