Daniel Spoerri remained loyal to the already proven format (cf. the„Batakari“ and «Médicine opératoire»), when he began a series of collages with pieces of ethnic jewelry. He calls these works “Chain Reaction” and with this he refers simultaneously to the necklaces used and to the phenomenon that there are certain objects that he as an artist reacts to.
